Donna has a passion for those serving away from home and felt the need to find another way to serve our troops.
Donna Black is a management professional, currently working at a fabless semiconductor company as the Sr. Director of Corporate Quality. Donna joined the Their Angels Board of Directors in 2011 after serving 5 years as a community outreach volunteer and by participating in regular attendance to the packing events.
Donna has been exposed to the military since childbirth, her Grandfather and Uncles were 30 year Navy/Army Veterans. Her father served in the Navy, as well as her late Husband of 23 years who served 12 years at Moffett Air Field in a P3 squadron. She is a mother of 3 boys. At the age of 20, Donna’s middle son joined the Marines and is now a veteran. Her son served 4 tours in combat, 2 in Iraq, and 2 in Afghanistan with a CH53 Helicopter squadron.
For Donna, Their Angels is a very special group of volunteers who not only support those who are deployed, but also their families, and she is committed to supporting our military personnel until every last one of them comes home safely.
